Veils&Vows Issue Archive

Let the celebration begin! We, at Veils & Vows, had a great time putting this Fall Issue together. We’re celebrating five extraordinary years of providing wedding knowledge to our Michiana brides. We want to thank all of our brides and vendors that have helped Veils & Vows become a success. We have been blessed to meet many wonderful brides along the way and hear their stories of love and commitment. We hope to continue to provide local brides with wedding advice for years to come.

On another note, the Fall Issue provides an exciting look into 2011’s hottest trends in wedding gowns. I personally will never forget the first moment I saw my bride walk through the church doors in her beautiful wedding gown. I literally wore a smile that went from ear to ear and it still makes me smile to this day. From this groom’s perspective, I know that moment of time was one of the greatest moments of my life. So, go ahead, enjoy the search as you look for your perfect dress!
Congratulations on your engagement! Can you feel the excitement? You might even be asking yourself "Now where do I start?" Veils & Vows will be a valuable resource for you as you plan this very special day. With more ideas, trends, fashions, and essentials than ever before, Veils & Vows is here to provide you a calm in the midst of the wedding planning storm!

The Honeymoon issue is always one of our favorites because there are plenty of photos of the beach, palm trees, and relaxing places to dream about. In this Summer Issue you will find honeymoon articles, photos, and more. Whether it be a beach, a french chateau, or a cabin in the Rockies you are looking for, have fun planning your perfect honeymoon.

Congratulations and Happy Planning.
It's your chance to make your wedding the most memorable day of your life. You can sense the wedding buzz growing as we approach the Spring and Summer months. Many of you are working diligently to plan your masterpiece wedding. We love to read every new Wedding Story that is submitted as it gives us a glimpse of how much planning and preparation goes into this special day.

Maybe you are considering doing some projects yourself. If a Do It Yourself project is of interest to you make sure you check out this issue's Veils & Vows, D.I.Y. section. How about a rousing bridal party introduction idea? Check out the article, Your Grand Entrance.

We enjoy having the opportunity to help cast new vision for the Michiana wedding industry each issue. With more advertisers than ever, Veils & Vows continues to strive to be the most visible wedding publication in Michiana, offering you the best choice of wedding vendors in this area.
The crisp winter air means there are "Will you marry me's?" flying everywhere. Nineteen percent of couples get engaged during the holidays, a 2004 study from the Condé Nast Bridal Group reported. That is more than November and January combined, and it far surpasses February, when marriage proposals are often tied to Valentine's Day (Rules of Engagement for the Holiday Season, By Cate Doty). Veils & Vows is excited to bring you our Winter 09-10 issue, with a brand new look!

We have several wonderful new features and vendors to present to you! The majority spoke at Michiana's Premier Wedding Expo bridal show in October and the consensus was that brides-to-be want more photos for inspiration and ideas, so that is exactly what we are giving you. Be inspired by our brand new "Color Inspiration" section. We also want to thank our faithful advertisers, some of which have been with us for over four years now!
